SITE SUPERVISOR
Working closely with the Project Manager, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for managing single or multiple job sites concurrently to ensure successful delivery of the project. The successful candidate for this position will posses 3 or more years of experience in a similar role and have strong knowledge in surveying and layout, excavation and grading, paving and concrete and construction health and safety. Supervisory experience, excellent interpersonal skills and a Class “G” driver’s license are requirements. This is a working Supervisor position and therefore, you must be physically fit and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. A university degree or college diploma in a related field is an asset but not a necessity.

JUNIOR SITE SUPERVISOR

The successful candidate for this position will posses 3 or more years of experience in the construction industry and have a basic knowledge of surveying and layout, excavation and grading, paving and concrete and construction health and safety. Excellent interpersonal skills and a Class “G” driver’s license are required and supervisory experience is considered an asset. This is a working Supervisor position and therefore, you must be physically fit and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. A university degree or college diploma in a related field is an asset but not a necessity.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
We are looking for a responsible, hardworking dependable individual with at least 5 years of related experience running excavators and bulldozers. In addition you must have a good driving record with a Class “G” license, possess effective English communication skills and be willing to travel to different site locations. High school diploma or post-secondary education is an asset but is not required.

SKILLED LABOURERS
We are looking for a responsible, hardworking dependable individual with at least 5 years’ experience in landscape or civil construction. You have experience and exposure to concrete work, sewer work, retaining walls & interlock and have experience with running equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators and tractors. You must have a good driving record with a Class “G” license and a willingness to travel to different site locations (mostly within the GTA). In addition, you must have effective English communication skills, be physically fit and able to lift at least 50 pounds.

CONCRETE FORM SETTING SUPERVISOR
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing other Carpenters and laborers, planning and organizing upcoming work, ordering materials and performing health and safety functions. In addition, you will perform hands on work such as tying rebar, forming and pouring, forming and pouring concrete. You must have at least 3 years of similar supervisory experience and 5 years of concrete form setting experience to be considered for this position. You must have experience in form systems such as Advanced, Peri and Doka. You must have effective interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills, the ability to read and interpret drawings and a strong health and safety background. You must have a good driving record with a Class “G” license and a willingness to travel to different site locations (mostly within the GTA) and be physically fit and able to lift at least 50 pounds. High school diploma or post-secondary education is an asset but is not required.

CARPENTER
In this position you will perform hands on carpentry work such as building and forming concrete, building decks and boardwalks, playground structures and similar. You must have at least 3 years of similar carpentry experience and exposure to sound health and safety practices. You have effective interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills and a professional attitude. You must have a good driving record with a Class “G” license and a willingness to travel to different site locations (mostly within the GTA) and be physically fit and able to lift at least 50 pounds. ESTIMATOR
Estimating has the potential to be an exciting career involving a range of skills and interests. As our new Estimator, reporting to the President you’ll work alongside the current Estimator to organize and schedule our civil landscape tenders from conception to execution. This will involve getting the best price that will win the contract in a competitive bidding situation while ensuring the contract can be executed profitably.

Qualifications

University Degree of College Diploma in Civil Engineering
3-5 years of experience performing estimates within the civil landscape construction industry
Knowledge of construction practices, materials and methods
Comprehensive understanding of how subcontractors bid projects based on knowledge of scope and work
Strong understanding of how to incorporate addendums into existing estimates
Organized & detail oriented; accurate data entry
Excellent computer skills, with strong proficiency in Word, Excel, (formatting, formulas, LOOKUPS, indexing etc.), AutoCAD; MS Project
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
